VIATSKY is a winter hardy garlic variety characterized by mid-maturity and a flowering growth type. The plant's leaves are green with a slight waxy coating, reaching a length of about 57 cm and a width of 1.9 cm. The bulb has an oval-flat shape, weighs approximately 63 grams, and consists of 7-9 cloves with a simple structure. The appearance of dry skins is distinguished by a lilac-violet color with anthocyanin streaks, while leathery skins have a brownish hue. The garlic flesh is yellowish, and the taste is spicy, making it attractive to lovers of piquant seasonings. The yield of the VIATSKY variety is about 0.8 kg per square meter, which allows for a stable and quite abundant harvest. Garlic keeps well for six months, retaining its taste and quality characteristics. Thanks to these properties, it is suitable for long-term storage and use in cooking throughout the year. This garlic variety is intended for growing in garden-plot conditions and belongs to the spicy type of plants. It was included in the register of agricultural crops in 2007 and is produced by JSC Ural Center of Promising Technologies 'Vegetable Growing'.
