LAZURNY

Garlic Lazurny is a winter hardy variety characterized by medium ripening and high frost resistance. The vegetation period is about 100-120 days, allowing successful cultivation in regions with a cold climate. The plant reaches a height of up to 150 cm, has dark green or light green leaves with a waxy coating, which can reach a length of 55 cm with a width of about 2 cm. Lazurny garlic belongs to the bulbing varieties, which is characteristic of winter types.

The bulb of the variety is large and round with a slight flattening at the bottom, consisting of 4-6 large cloves of simple structure. The total weight of the head can reach 58-150 g depending on growing conditions. The outer dry scales have light purple shades with dark lilac vertical streaks, while the leather scales of the cloves are dense and brown. The garlic flesh is white, with a distinctly strong taste and rich aroma, which is preserved with proper storage for up to 6 months.

The Lazurny variety is distinguished by high yields - about 700 g per 1 m², and in southern and well-irrigated regions this indicator can increase by one and a half times. Garlic is resistant to diseases and is suitable for cultivation both on dacha plots and in private household plots. To maintain high productivity, it is recommended to observe crop rotation and not grow garlic in the same place more often than once every 3-4 years.
