Description Stimul
Black-headed grass variety "Stimul" is a semi-upright bush, 70–90 cm tall, with straight and branched unpubescent stems. Leaves are odd-pinnate, consisting of 15–19 leaflets 9–12 cm long, egg-shaped-rounded, serrated, and dark green. Inflorescences are small rounded heads 3–4 cm long, dense and brownish; seeds are egg-shaped, 5–6 mm long, ribbed and brown.

The root system of this variety is powerful and branched: the main root is taproot-like and thickened. This ensures high drought resistance and winter hardiness, as well as rapid growth after mowing. Average yield of green mass is 268 c/ha, hay – 68 c/ha, seeds – 7.0 c/ha, while protein content in dry matter reaches 19.0–19.3 %. The vegetation period to the first mowing is 53–54 days, to full maturity – 84–88 days.

Variety "Stimul" is intended for mowing and pasture use and can persist in a grass mixture for up to 14 years. It grows quickly in spring and after mowing, has good drought resistance, as well as the ability to withstand slight frosts. Sowing is carried out in a quantity of about 15 kg/ha, while agronomy corresponds to scientific recommendations for the Middle Fore-Ural region. Due to its characteristics, "Stimul" is considered a promising component for forming cultivated pastures.
