Celery of the Maxim variety is a late-maturing, high-yielding variety of root celery intended both for fresh consumption and processing. The root vegetables are large, round in shape with a smooth surface and a small number of lateral roots. The flesh is creamy or cream-white in color, aromatic and dense, ensuring high product quality.
The variety is distinguished by high yield and resistance to bolting, which allows obtaining a quality harvest without premature flowering. Moreover, Maxim has resistance to septoria – leaf speckle, which contributes to maintaining plant health and reducing losses during cultivation.
Due to good storage and high content of dry matter, celery Maxim is excellently suited for long-term storage and processing. This makes it a universal choice for various purposes, including use in fresh form and industrial processing. Seed production is carried out in the Czech Republic, which guarantees high quality of planting material.
