Description Silvano
Silvano F1 carrot is an early hybrid of the Chantenay type with a maturity period from germination to harvest of 105-110 days. The roots are conical, 17-19 cm long, and weigh between 110 and 176 grams. Their uniform orange color and neat appearance significantly enhance the market value of the produce. The leaf rosette is upright and dark green, indicating plant health and vigor, as well as facilitating care and mechanized harvesting.

The hybrid has high dry matter content (12.8-15.8%), total sugar (7.4-9.6%), and carotene (up to 19.9 mg per 100 g of fresh weight), making it particularly nutritious and flavorful. Due to its strong growth, Silvano F1 is suitable for late harvesting while maintaining high root quality.

This hybrid is versatile in use: it is excellent for fresh consumption, canning, and long-term storage. Due to its characteristics, Silvano F1 is recommended for cultivation during the main summer and autumn seasons, as well as for mechanized harvesting, making it convenient and profitable for farmers and gardeners.
