This variety has carved out a unique niche in the specialty vegetable market, increasingly sought after by farmers and gardeners who value both aesthetic appeal and culinary utility.

• Average root weight: 120–150 grams.
• Root length: 17–20 centimeters, providing excellent handling for both mechanical and manual harvesting.
• Firm texture, which contributes to good storability under proper conditions.

Market position and development

The SDK-SEEDS development team focuses on creating varieties that bridge the gap between niche aesthetic interest and industrial viability. The «Miami Chocolate» variety serves as a prime example of this philosophy. Its high anthocyanin content makes it a staple for health-conscious consumers and fine-dining kitchens. The uniform size and consistent conical shape allow for optimized planting density and simplified logistics, ensuring that this variety remains a reliable choice for professional growers who want to offer a premium, visually striking product that stands out from standard market offerings.
