Carnation EASTERN PATTERN SALMON

Growing Experience: 'Vostochny Uzor Salmon'

Working with the 'Vostochny Uzor Salmon' carnation from the 'Caprice' farm, you quickly realize this is selection work designed for those who value predictability. This isn't a temperamental hybrid; it's a stable, adapted variety that thrives in local climatic conditions. The key to successful cultivation is providing the right soil balance and sufficient light exposure.

Field and Pot Cultivation

The versatility of this variety allows for both open-field cultivation and container gardening, which gives a producer significant flexibility in sales. In pots, the carnation maintains a compact habit without the need for constant pinching to shape the bush, provided the temperature is managed correctly. In the open field, 'Vostochny Uzor' demonstrates impressive tolerance to temperature fluctuations.

• Flowers: Double, 3–5 cm in diameter. They maintain their shape well even after heavy dew or moderate rainfall.
• Color: A saturated salmon hue that is highly resistant to sun fading, ensuring the product looks top-tier until the final sale.
• Maintenance: Low-effort management. The variety has a strong natural immunity, which significantly reduces the need for frequent fungicide treatments.

If you are looking to scale your production, this variety from Vyacheslav Shepelev is a reliable asset. It responds well to standard fertilization, requires minimal intervention, and handles transportation well, which is a decisive factor for any commercial floriculturist.
