Pink Dawn is a perennial shrub carnation that delights the eye with its large umbel inflorescences up to 15 cm in diameter and shoots ranging from 15 to 60 cm in height. The flowers have a delicate pink hue, transitioning from pastel tones to rich shades, and the plant's aroma remains pleasant and long-lasting.
The shrub is easy to grow in open ground: seeds can be sown in the second decade of April – early May, when frost is no longer a threat. Carnations adapt well to sunny areas but also withstand partial shade. Care for the plant is minimal – just regular watering and moderate fertilization.
The flowering period begins in June and continues until the end of summer, after which the plants are capable of self-seeding, ensuring a stable garden coverage year after year. Thanks to its perennial nature and ability to self-reproduce, pink dawn becomes an excellent choice for creating a bright floral lawn or photo zone in the garden.
