Kalibos

Cabbage variety Kalibos is a mid-late or mid-season type with a vegetation period from germination to technical maturity ranging from 105 to 145 days depending on growing conditions. The plant reaches a height of about 45 cm and forms conical, well-covered heads weighing from 2 to 2.5 kg. The variety’s distinctive feature is its pointed, triangular head shape on a long outer head, giving the cabbage an attractive appearance and ease of handling.

Kalibos cabbage is distinguished by its high resistance to fungal diseases, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including Ukraine. The plant prefers moderately moist soil and requires frequent watering for optimal growth. The frost resistance zone of this variety falls within 9-10, allowing cultivation in moderate climate regions.

This variety is valued for its high sugar content and richness in vitamins and fiber, providing excellent taste and crisp texture. Kalibos cabbage is suitable for fresh consumption and can be stored for a short period, making it versatile for household use and market sales. The optimal planting scheme is 60x60 cm, promoting full plant development and high-quality head formation.
