SIBIRYACHKA 60 is a mid-season variety of cabbage intended for open-field cultivation. The heads of this variety are round or round-flat, reaching a weight of 2.1 to 4.3 kg and a diameter of 20-25 cm. The leaves are gray-green and form a semi-upright rosette. The cabbage is characterized by its resistance to head cracking, which ensures crop preservation during harvest and transport. The variety is adapted to various light conditions but prefers well-lit areas and does not tolerate shading. The plant is resistant to pests and diseases, which facilitates care and reduces the need for intensive protection.
The period from transplanting seedlings to harvest is 80-95 days, and from germination to harvest is 125-140 days. The yield of the variety ranges from 341 to 857 centners per hectare, which corresponds to 75-87 tons per hectare or up to 11 kg per square meter. For cultivation, it is recommended to use fertile, well-structured, and drained soils with a neutral pH. The optimal temperature for cabbage growth is from +15 to +28°C during the day and +12-14°C at night. Seedlings should be planted at the age of 50-55 days with an interval of 60x60 cm, after hardening and ensuring moderate watering. Throughout the season, regular watering, weeding, loosening, and fertilizing with mineral fertilizers, including nitrogen, potassium, and micro-fertilizers with magnesium and boron, are necessary.
The SIBIRYACHKA 60 variety is versatile in use: suitable for fresh consumption, pickling, and canning. The cabbage has excellent taste qualities both fresh and pickled. It is suitable for short-term storage for up to 4 months, which allows using the harvest during the autumn-winter period. Due to its resistance and adaptability, the variety is successfully grown in northern, Ural, western Siberian, and Far Eastern regions.
