Nadezhda

White cabbage of the Nadezhda variety is a medium-maturing variety with a vegetative period of about 120-125 days. The plant forms a semi-spreading bluish-green leaf rosette with a characteristic bloom, while the heads have a round or round-flat shape, are dense, and weigh between 2.4 and 3.4 kg on average. The inner part of the head is white, juicy, and possesses high taste qualities, confirmed by a high tasting score. This variety is distinguished by its resistance to most diseases and pests, as well as cold hardiness, making it a reliable choice for growing in various regions and open-ground conditions.

Nadezhda cabbage is versatile in application: it is suitable for fresh consumption, pickling, canning, and other types of processing. When pickled, it retains juiciness and crunchiness, acquiring a pleasant sour-sweet taste. Thanks to good transportability and the ability for long-term storage, this variety can be preserved for up to three months, allowing the harvest to be used until New Year.

Growing Nadezhda cabbage does not require complex care. Seeds are sown for seedlings at the end of March, and after 35-40 days, the seedlings are transplanted into the ground in May. Weekly watering and fertilizing 3-4 times during the vegetative period are recommended to ensure a high yield. This variety is particularly popular among farmers due to its reliability, high yield, and excellent taste qualities, as well as its rich content of vitamins C, PP, K, B group, and other beneficial substances.
