TAIINSKAYA is a mid-ripening cabbage variety characterized by a period from planting seedlings to harvest of 90-115 days. The leaf rosette of this variety is large and sprawling, with medium-sized leaves shaped from broadly rounded to transversely oval. They are grayish-green in color with a light waxy coating, finely wrinkled, and weakly wavy at the edges. Heads of TAIINSKAYA vary from round-flat to round, with medium density and a weight from 2.6 to 3.9 kg. The variety is distinguished by good yield and resistance to cracking, ensuring product preservation during long-term storage. Fresh heads can maintain their qualities for 2-3 months after cutting, and under proper storage conditions — until January. The cabbage has a pleasant taste, making it universal for fresh consumption, as well as for pickling and other processing methods. Agrotechnology for growing TAIINSKAYA includes sowing for seedlings in the second half of March, followed by planting in open ground in late April or May, depending on the desired maturity date. It is recommended to follow a planting scheme of 60x40 cm for early varieties and 60x60 cm for medium-late and late varieties. Successful cultivation requires regular care, including soil loosening, weeding, watering, and feeding. Good predecessors for this variety are legumes, cucumbers, and potatoes.
