Media F

Cucumber Media F is a medium-fruited parthenocarpic hybrid intended for cultivation in greenhouses, plastic tunnels, and indoors. The plant has moderate growth vigor and an open bush form, primarily setting one fruit per node. This hybrid is shade-tolerant and suitable for early plantings, starting from mid-January in the third daylight zone. Media F is registered in the State Register of Selection Achievements of the Russian Federation, confirming its quality and adaptability to regional climatic conditions.

The fruits of Media F cucumber have a dark green color, smooth surface without bitterness, dense and crisp texture. Fruit length on the main stem is 18-20 cm, and on lateral branches — 18-21 cm, with a weight ranging from 160 to 230 grams. Cucumbers store well, making them convenient for transportation and long-term use. The plant exhibits moderate resistance to powdery mildew, contributing to stable yields.

Media F is widely cultivated in Russia and Poland in the winter-spring rotation, indicating its versatility and high productivity. Due to parthenocarpy, the cucumber can set fruit without pollination, but for increased yield, it is recommended to plant a pollinator. The hybrid’s yield reaches 15-20 kg per square meter and higher, making it a profitable choice for both commercial and home cultivation.
