RINGTON

Rington F1 cabbage is a medium-maturing hybrid of white cabbage developed by Syngenta Seeds from the Netherlands. The plant is characterized by high stress resistance and a strong root system, ensuring excellent adaptation to changing climatic conditions. The maturity period is 80 to 90 days, allowing for harvest at optimal times. The cabbage forms large, round heads with a small core, weighing 4 to 6 kg, covered with light green waxy leaves. The head has a dense white structure that retains its quality for a long time.

The Rington F1 hybrid is resistant to major diseases, including fusarium, as well as pests such as thrips. The plant's tall stem promotes good air circulation through the plants, reducing disease risk and improving crop quality. The cabbage can be stored in the field throughout the harvesting period without cracking or rotting, and retains its market appearance during transportation. The seeds are treated and ready for planting, simplifying cultivation.

Rington F1 is suitable for open-field cultivation in all regions of Ukraine, primarily from seedlings. For an earlier harvest, temporary cover is recommended. The cabbage is excellent for fresh consumption and culinary use, especially for pickling and making sauerkraut. This hybrid is valued for its high-quality heads and versatility.
