Cabbage Ormond

Cabbage Ormonde F1 is a mid-season hybrid from the Dutch breeding company Rijk Zwaan, intended for cultivation in open ground during spring-summer and summer-autumn rotations. The vegetation period is 70-80 days, allowing two harvests per season. The plant has a standard height, a strong root system, and vertically oriented leaves that effectively protect heads from sunburn and promote uniform growth even under changing cultivation conditions. The hybrid is resistant to common infectious diseases and downy mildew, ensuring stable yields and high product quality. Ormonde F1 heads have a round shape, dense structure, and white color with a finely wrinkled surface. Head weight ranges from 1 to 2 kg, and the cabbage easily separates into florets. The hybrid exhibits high uniformity and stable self-closing ability, promoting synchronized ripening and simplifying harvest in two stages. Due to its dense and firm head structure, cabbage withstands transportation without quality loss and has good post-harvest storage properties, preserving nutritional value and market appearance for a long time.
