CLARINA

CLARINA cabbage is a medium-early hybrid developed by Dutch breeders of the Syngenta company. The vegetation period ranges from 70 to 85 days depending on the season, allowing it to be grown in both summer and late summer-fall rotations. The plant features vigorous growth and resilience to adverse weather conditions, ensuring a stable yield even under changing climate conditions. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in open ground, both as transplants and direct sowing, as well as under temporary coverings. CLARINA cabbage heads are round and weigh approximately 1.5-2 kg. Snow-white heads are dense and firm, providing excellent appearance and high flavor quality. The leaves are dark green, dense, protecting the heads from sunburn and extending storage life. Due to resistance to root rot and other diseases, the hybrid demonstrates high viability and reliability in cultivation. CLARINA is intended for use in fresh markets, processing, freezing, and long-term storage. The recommended planting rate is 35,000 plants per hectare, which is optimal for achieving high yields. The harvested crop is easily transported over long distances without loss of quality, making this hybrid a universal solution for farmers and vegetable producers.
