Cabbage Zaragoza

Zaragoza F1 is a mid-season hybrid developed by the Dutch company Bejo Zaden. The vegetative period is approximately 75-80 days from seedling transplanting, allowing this variety to be used for early and late summer cultivation in open ground. The plant has a straight, compact, and low-growing form with a strong root system, promoting good development and resistance to adverse conditions. The heads are round and snow-white, weighing between 1 and 3 kg each. Zaragoza F1 forms dense flower heads, well-protected by covering leaves that prevent damage and ensure high-quality produce. The recommended planting density is 35-40 thousand plants per hectare, optimal for achieving maximum productivity. For improved growth and yield, it is recommended to grow this hybrid on well-prepared, sun-warmed soil with regular moderate watering and application of complex mineral fertilizers. One of the key advantages of the Zaragoza F1 hybrid is its high resistance to various races of clubroot (0, 1, 3), as well as fungal diseases such as phytophthora and powdery mildew. This significantly reduces the risk of crop loss and reduces the need for chemical plant protection agents. The seeds are suitable for cultivation in various regions, making Zaragoza F1 a universal choice for farmers targeting fresh markets and processing.
