OCTAVE

OCTAVE F1 is a heat-tolerant kohlrabi hybrid intended for open-ground cultivation from early summer until autumn. This early-maturing variety features white, smooth stem fruits of a flat-round or elliptical shape, measuring 20-22 cm in length, belonging to the Nantes type. The plant has dark green, wide, vertically growing leaves that form a powerful leaf apparatus well attached to the root crop.

OCTAVE F1 hybrid boasts high yield — up to 5.4 kg per square meter, making it attractive for both the fresh market and processing. The fruits possess excellent quality, are uniform, and very smooth, facilitating mechanized harvesting and minimizing losses due to cracking resistance. Additionally, the cabbage maintains excellent marketable qualities even after washing.

The vegetation period is 120-130 days from germination. OCTAVE F1 is suitable for fresh consumption and long-term storage. The hybrid is resistant to diseases such as alternaria and powdery mildew, which enhances cultivation reliability and crop quality.
