Description Mayflower F1
Mayflower F1 — ultra-early hybrid of cauliflower, intended for fresh market cultivation. It matures 50–55 days after transplanting seedlings, allowing harvest as early as late April — early May when grown under plastic coverings. Plants form uniform, round, dense heads of snowy white color, weighing 1.0–1.2 kg. Light green medium-sized leaves densely cover the heads, protecting them from sunburn and adverse weather conditions. The hybrid exhibits strong growth and a robust root system, ensuring resilience to spring stress and temperature fluctuations. Mayflower F1 shows high uniformity in maturity, enabling quick and efficient single harvest. The plant is well-adapted to Ukrainian climate conditions and successfully grows both under plastic coverings and in open ground without developmental deviations. The hybrid’s fruits possess excellent flavor and high quality, making them highly marketable. Mayflower F1 cauliflower is suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for canning, processing, and freezing. For maximum yield, regular watering, soil loosening, and two applications of mineral fertilizers are recommended. The hybrid is resistant to diseases, but requires preventive measures against pests.
