GORYANKA 5 — a variety of white cabbage distinguished by its late maturity and suitability for pickling and salting. The heads of this variety are dense, durable, and disease-resistant, ensuring high yields up to 800-1000 centners per hectare. Thanks to its qualities, the cabbage is stored well until February-March, making it convenient for long-term use in food.
This variety is characterized by a conical shape of heads of medium density with a mass of 1.0 to 1.5 kg. The external and internal stalks of the cabbage are short, which facilitates its processing and preparation for consumption. The yield is 290-310 centners per hectare, and the marketability reaches 87-99 %, indicating the high quality of the product. The cabbage is cold-hardy, allowing it to be grown in various climatic conditions.
GORYANKA 5 is used both fresh and for short-term storage. The period from mass germination to technical maturity is 215-240 days. This variety was bred and patented by authors E.U. Kamilova, G.A. Askhayev, and Yu.A. Gusayev, which confirms its breeding quality and reliability.
