Description Kanto
Kanto cabbage (KS 412 F1) is an ultra-early hybrid of white cabbage, developed by breeders of Kitano Seeds. This variety is characterized by high early maturity, maturing in 48-52 days after transplanting seedlings. The plant is compact with a small leaf area, allowing it to grow well even at high planting densities. The cabbage adapts well to various soil types and can be successfully grown under plastic and agrofiber coverings, as well as in open ground across all regions of Ukraine.

The heads of Kanto cabbage have a round shape and bright green color. The heads are small but very dense, weighing from 1 to 1.5 kg. They are characterized by excellent taste and high commercial quality, ensuring stable demand in fresh markets. A distinctive feature of this variety is the absence of susceptibility to cracking, which, together with good transportability, allows for transportation over any distance without loss of appearance or quality.

The variety is resistant to bacterial rot and black leg, significantly reducing cultivation risks. The cabbage can be stored on the root for up to two weeks, expanding storage and marketing opportunities. The recommended planting density is 55-60 thousand plants per hectare, which contributes to high yields and quality of marketable produce.
