Beans Stella

German breeding excellence for the feed sector

The «Stella» bean variety represents the outcome of years of dedicated breeding work by P.H.Petersen Saatzucht Lundsgaard. As a German originator known for its rigorous testing protocols, the company has developed this variety specifically to address the evolving needs of the livestock industry. In a market that increasingly demands high protein concentrations alongside logistical efficiency, selecting a specialized feed variety has become a cornerstone of farm profitability.

Agronomic potential

«Stella» demonstrates the stability consistent with the P.H.Petersen portfolio. The variety's key attributes include:

• Purpose-driven focus on animal feed, ensuring an optimal nutrient balance for high-quality rations for cattle and pigs.
• Adaptability to the climatic zones of Central and Northern Europe, making the variety a reliable choice despite seasonal variability.
• Ease of cultivation, which simplifies management and harvesting operations across large acreages.

Choosing this variety is a strategic decision for farmers who value proven German genetics. Unlike multipurpose hybrids, «Stella» is specifically optimized to solve one critical challenge: producing high-quality feed biomass with predictable protein and fiber content. The yield consistency supported by P.H.Petersen Saatzucht Lundsgaard makes this variety a dependable asset for building a sustainable feed base for operations of any scale.
