Description RED RUBIN BASIL
Red Rubin Basil is a mid-season variety with purple-red leaves, featuring an original fruity-vanilla aroma and spicy clove flavor. The plant forms a compact, well-leafed bush with a height of 40-65 cm and a weight of about 200-220 g. This variety is characterized by high yield and versatility; its greens are used both fresh and for drying, freezing, and canning, retaining their aroma even after processing.

Red Rubin is suitable for growing in open ground and protected conditions, including home pots and balcony beds. The plant prefers sunny areas, requires regular watering and fertilization, and exhibits high drought resistance and immunity to diseases. The vegetative period is about 65-70 days from seed germination, while technical maturity is reached 35-38 days after seedling emergence.

Growing is possible via direct sowing or seedling method, with the latter considered more reliable for obtaining a stable harvest. Thanks to the saturated leaf color, Red Rubin basil not only gives dishes an exotic look but also serves as a decorative plant. It is widely used in gastronomy as a spice-flavoring additive and is suitable for fresh markets and processing.
