Yarunchik spring barley is a medium-early grain-forage variety developed through complex crossing and recommended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including the Central Black Earth, North Caucasus, and Lower Volga regions, as well as the Belgorod and Rostov regions, Krasnodar Krai, and the Republic of Kalmykia. The variety's vegetation period ranges from 71 to 83 days, allowing it to successfully adapt to various climatic conditions. The mass of 1000 grains varies from 37 to 51 grams, while the protein content in the grain reaches 13.1%, ensuring high-quality feed raw materials.

The Yarunchik variety is characterized by high resistance to lodging and drought, making it a reliable choice for regions with unpredictable weather conditions. It also exhibits high resistance to grain shattering, which contributes to crop preservation. In terms of disease resistance, the variety demonstrates medium resistance to dwarf rust and speckled leaf spot, as well as high resistance to powdery mildew, reducing the need for frequent fungicide application and increasing cultivation economic efficiency.

The potential yield of the Yarunchik variety exceeds 80 centners per hectare, as confirmed by state variety testing results. The average yield across regions ranges from 20.3 to 51.7 centners per hectare, with maximum indicators reaching up to 80.1 centners. Due to its ecological plasticity and adaptive properties, this variety is promising for widespread application in agriculture, providing stable and high-quality grain for feed purposes.
