The Orda variety of spring barley is a medium-maturing type characterized by high ecological plasticity and adapted for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including the Volga-Vyatka, Central Volga, Ural, and Western Siberia. This variety is distinguished by its good drought resistance, resistance to lodging, and sturdy straw, ensuring yield stability even in unfavorable conditions. Plant height ranges from 49 to 76 cm, making the variety medium-sized and convenient for mechanized harvesting.

Orda features large grains with a 1000-grain weight ranging from 33 to 52 g, most commonly 46-50 g, contributing to high productivity. Average yield by region ranges from 16.5 to 40.1 c/ha, reaching up to 80 c/ha in some cases. Protein content in the grain reaches 12.0%, making it valuable for grain-forage use. High-productive tillering promotes the formation of a large number of ears, positively affecting the overall crop volume.
