Barley Talisman Myronivskyi

The Stability of Mironivka Breeding

Winter barley "Talisman Myronivskyi" is a landmark product from the V.M. Remeslo Myronivka Institute of Wheat. Bred by experts at one of Ukraine's oldest agricultural research centers, this variety serves as a reliable solution for farms focused on predictable yields in temperate climates. In an era of global climatic shifts, it has established itself as a crop with high adaptive capacity.

Agronomic Traits and Protection

The key feature of this variety is its balance between morphological parameters and high phytosanitary resistance. With a stalk height of 70-80 cm, the plant possesses sufficient structural integrity, minimizing the risk of lodging under intensive farming technologies. A winter hardiness rating of 7 points allows the crop to confidently withstand moderate winter stresses typical of Ukraine's main production regions.

• Phytosanitary Barrier: The variety demonstrates complex resistance to key pathogens, including rust, Mycosphaerella leaf spot, brown spot, and powdery mildew. Its genetic potential significantly reduces the need for fungicide treatments.
• Development Dynamics: The heading period is 50-60 days, with a total growing season of 90-100 days, making it convenient for crop rotation planning.
• Grain Quality: The 1,000-seed weight ranges from 42 to 44 grams, which is an optimal indicator for commercial winter barley.

The reputation of "Talisman Myronivskyi" is built on the balance between biological endurance and responsiveness to fertilizer application. It is a variety for those seeking a time-tested classic of domestic breeding with predictable yield results.
