Barley variety Tasja is intended for brewing purposes and is characterized by low protein content, which is an important indicator of raw material quality for beer production. The vegetation period of this variety ranges from 84 to 89 days, allowing effective planning of sowing in various climatic conditions. Plants reach a height of 55.8 to 68.7 cm, and grain uniformity is within the range of 88.7–92.3 %, indicating a high degree of harvest homogeneity.

Tasja variety exhibits high resistance to various diseases and pests, including powdery mildew, rust, helminthosporiosis, and stem borers, with resistance ratings from 5 to 9 points for various indicators. In addition, it demonstrates good drought resistance (8 points), lodging resistance, and stress tolerance, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polесьe regions.
