Description
Barley KWS Amadora is a medium-early spring barley variety recommended for cultivation in the Polesie, Forest Steppe, and Steppe regions. The vegetation period ranges from 83 to 91 days, and plant height varies between 55-68 cm. The variety is characterized by good grain uniformity (95-97%) and 1000-grain weight from 41.9 to 49.2 g, ensuring high-quality seed material suitable for sowing on various soil types. KWS Amadora stands out for its high yield potential up to 7 t/ha and grain protein content of approximately 10.6-12%. The variety features a well-developed root system, promoting stable growth and adaptation to different growing conditions. Additionally, barley demonstrates high resistance to major diseases such as powdery mildew, helminthosporium, rust, as well as lodging and shattering, significantly reducing yield losses and improving grain quality. KWS Amadora seeds are produced in Germany and supplied in packages of 1000 kg. To maintain sowing quality, storage at temperatures between +7 to +10°C and humidity not exceeding 10% is recommended. Thanks to its agronomic characteristics and resistance to adverse factors, this variety is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality barley yields.
