Mironovskiy 92 is an autumn barley variety belonging to the medium-maturing group with a vegetation period of 270 to 288 days. Plants reach a height of 66 to 93 cm, have a two-row, semi-erect, pyramidal-shaped ear 6–9 cm long with serrated awns exceeding ear length. Grain is large, elliptical-elongated, plump, with 1000-grain weight ranging from 58.2–60.4 g and protein content from 12.3 to 15%. The variety is characterized by high drought resistance, resistance to lodging and shattering, making it a profitable choice for intensive cultivation technologies. Mironovskiy 92 exhibits good resistance to major diseases, including hard head and smut, with resistance ratings of 6–7. For protection against head diseases, seed treatment with fungicidal protectants is recommended. Cold resistance and resistance to 35°C temperatures are above average, ensuring reliable cultivation under various climatic conditions. The variety is characterized by high yield — 73 to 90 c/ha, stable productivity and adaptability to different agro-ecological zones. Due to its qualities and performance, Mironovskiy 92 is popular among Ukrainian farmers and represents a promising choice for obtaining high-protein, large-grain barley.
