LEKARY 2

LEKARY 2 is a mid-early spring barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) variety with a vegetation period of 69-73 days, intended for grain-forage use. The plant is of medium height with an erect or semi-erect bush, characterized by strong anthocyanin pigmentation of the flag leaf ears and a pronounced waxy coating on the sheath. The ear is pyramidal, loose or medium density, with long barbed awns colored in anthocyanin of medium intensity. The grain is large, with a glabrous ventral groove and embracing lodicules. The mass of 1000 grains is 40-52 g, protein content reaches 11.5%. The variety is resistant to lodging, drought, as well as damage by helminthosporiosis and powdery head smut, as confirmed by field tests and high yields reaching 48 c/ha in favorable conditions. To protect barley and other cereal crops from a wide range of fungal diseases, a highly effective systemic fungicide LEKARY 2 containing 250 g/L of tebuconazole is used. The agent quickly penetrates the plant and is evenly distributed throughout the vegetative apparatus, primarily in the direction of growth. It has protective, therapeutic, eradication, and growth-regulating properties, which ensures reliable protection against diseases such as fusarium, alternaria, gray mold, powdery mildew, rust, septoria, fusarium and others. The fungicide is applied during the vegetation period from the beginning of tillering to the end of ear emergence at temperatures from +10 °C to +25 °C and wind speed not more than 3-4 m/s. The consumption rate is from 0.5 to 1.0 l/ha for cereal crops, including barley, wheat, rape, soy, and corn. Using LEKARY 2 contributes to increased yield and improved grain quality due to effective control of fungal diseases and stimulation of plant growth.
