Barley of the 'Magical' variety is a high-quality cereal crop intended for intensive farming conditions in the forest-steppe zone. This variety was included in the State Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine since 2002 and is characterized by high yield potential, reaching 85-90 centners per hectare. During state variety trials from 1999 to 2001, 'Magical' ranked first in yield, surpassing the national standard Odessa 115 by 13.7% or 5.01 centners per hectare, with an average yield of 44.6 centners per hectare.
The 'Magical' barley has a balanced composition, including more than 75% easily digestible carbohydrates, primarily starch, up to 12% protein, and 2.1% fat. Due to this, it is an excellent concentrated feed for various domestic animals, providing them with essential nutrients.
In addition, barley contains important health components such as fiber, B-vitamins, and beta-glucans, which help lower blood cholesterol levels and maintain stable blood sugar. These properties make 'Magical' not only a valuable agricultural product but also a beneficial component of the diet.
