The variety's winter hardiness is at standard levels, and its resistance to lodging and shattering helps preserve the yield.
Carrera is characterized by high yield and good tillering, capable of forming over 750 productive stems per square meter. The average yield in the region is about 63.8 centners per hectare, with maximum indicators reaching 108.2 centners per hectare. The variety responds well to fertilizer application, which increases its productivity. The thousand-kernel weight ranges from 38 to 47 grams, occasionally reaching 57 grams, indicating medium grain size.
Furthermore, Carrera has high resistance to major foliar and stem diseases such as fusarium, foopisis, white mold, and gray mold. The variety is plastic and of the intensive type, suitable for cultivation using the Clearfield plus technology.
