BOGATYR — a variety of spring barley (Hordeum vulgare L.), characterized by medium maturity and medium height. This multi-row grain-feed variety is intended for cultivation in the North Caucasus region. The mass of 1000 grains varies from 34 to 43 grams, protein content ranges from 10.9 to 12.7%, and hulling ranges from 11.3 to 12.9%. The yield of the variety in the specified region reaches 21.7 centners per hectare.

The variety exhibits resistance to lodging and drought tolerance, although these indicators are somewhat inferior to the standard variety Vicount. BogatyR is susceptible to helicospores, which should be taken into account when planning plant protection. Seeds of the variety are sold by Kuban Agro LLC and meet the requirements of GOST R 52325-2005, confirmed by corresponding quality certificates.

BOGATYR is suitable for use in grain-feed production, ensuring a stable yield when agricultural technical requirements are met. Its characteristics make the variety attractive to agricultural producers focused on barley cultivation in the North Caucasus region.
