Prado F1 Eggplant — an early-maturing, bush-type hybrid developed by Kitano Seeds, suitable for cultivation both in open and protected soil. The vegetative period ranges from 60 to 70 days after transplanting seedlings. The plant is tall with a strong root system and abundant foliage, providing reliable protection for fruits against sunburn and promoting effective nutrition. The hybrid quickly adapts to changing growing conditions, is resistant to a wide range of diseases, and exhibits high growth vigor. Prado eggplant fruits have a classic oval or pear-shaped form with smooth, thin, and elastic skin of deep purple color with a glossy surface. Fruit length varies from 12 to 23 cm, and weight ranges from 150 to 300 grams. The flesh is light cream or beige, dense, tender, without bitterness, and with few seeds, ensuring excellent taste quality. Fruits form in clusters of 3–4 pieces, promoting prolonged and staggered fruiting. The Prado hybrid is characterized by high yield — up to 55–60 tons per hectare — as well as excellent transportability and long-term storage without loss of appearance or flavor. It is suitable for various culinary methods, including frying, grilling, stewing, canning, and freezing.
