Othello F1

Othello F1 — an early eggplant hybrid with a vegetation period from seedling transplanting to the start of fruit harvest of 50-55 days. The plant is compact, reaching a height of 40-60 cm, which is convenient for cultivation and care. Fruits have a cylindrical shape, 15-18 cm long, colored in a deep purple with a glossy, shiny surface, giving them an attractive market appearance.

The fruit flesh has a dense consistency, light color, and excellent taste qualities without bitterness, making Othello F1 eggplants especially valuable for culinary use. The seed cavity occupies about one-third of the fruit, and the fruits do not form seeds for a long time, significantly improving their quality and marketability. Thanks to these characteristics, the hybrid is suitable for various preparation and storage methods.

Othello F1 is characterized by high heat tolerance and the ability to continuously form fruits, ensuring a stable and prolonged fruiting period with the possibility of harvesting every 5-7 days. The hybrid yields 60 tons per hectare and more. Fruits are well-transported and highly resistant to aging, making this variety profitable for commercial cultivation and marketing.
