This variety was obtained at the State Nikitsky Botanical Garden by K.F. Kostina from the best clones of the Red Cheeked variety.
A strongly growing, fast-growing tree with a round, wide-spreading, sparse crown.
Large fruits, weighing 60 g, round-egg-shaped or round-oval, distinctly compressed on the sides, with a very narrow and deep seam, especially in the lower half of the fruit. The skin is hairy, dense, yellow-orange, sometimes with a slight light carmine blush. The flesh is light-orange, medium-firm, slightly tart, with a mild aroma. Taste rating 3.9 points. The stone is medium-sized, weighing 1.6 g, oval or oval-egg-shaped, separates easily from the flesh. The seed is sweet.
Enhanced winter hardiness. Satisfactory resistance to major fungal diseases. Fruits ripen in the second half of July. Good transportability and storability, with universal use.
Advantages: large, attractive fruits of good quality.
Disadvantages: low resistance to major fungal diseases.
