Variety from the Dagestan Fruit Tree Breeding Experimental Station (DSOSPK), seedling from open pollination of the Kurсадык variety. Authors: Sh.G. Batyrkhanov, A.S. Pokrovskaya, N.V. Malinovskaya. The variety was included in the State Register for the North Caucasus region in 2004.
Tree is weak-growing, natural dwarf — 2.0-2.5 m height in 1980 plantings, rootstock is apricot seedling, crown is flat-round shape, medium density and foliage.
Fruits are medium to large size, medium uniformity, shape round, slightly oblique. Main color is greenish-cream. Skin is thin, dense. Flesh is cream-yellow, dense, juicy, sweet taste with pleasant acidity (4.6 points). Contains dry matter 15.35%, sugars 9.72%, acids 1.73%, ascorbic acid 11.89 mg/100g. Stone is small, 2.30 g, and constitutes 6.06% of fruit mass.
Fruits store for 6-8 days, transportable. Sensory evaluation of fresh fruits 4.6 points, compote 4.6 points, jam 4.6 points.
Ripening period is medium-late — August 1. Variety is early-bearing, trees planted in 1996 yield up to 25 kg per tree. Yield from 1984-2000 was 69.7 centners/ha, maximum 217 centners/ha. Winter hardiness is good. Disease resistance is good (1-2 points).
