The autumn variety was obtained at the Krasnoyarsk Experimental Fruit Station by V. M. Krutovskiy from sowing seeds of an unknown variety.
The variety has been officially approved over several decades in the Altai, Krasnoyarsk, Primorsky, and Khabarovsk regions, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Tomsk, Tyumen, Irkutsk, Chita, Amur Oblasts, and Khakassia.
Tree — semi-dwarf.
Fruits are small, flat-round, ribbed, with a falling calyx. Color is orange-red. Flesh is pinkish, tart-sweet, slightly sharp.
Chemical composition of fruits: sugars — 14.28%, titratable acids — 1.69%, ascorbic acid — 32.9 mg/100g, vitamin P — 580.0 mg/100g, tannins — 0.30%.
Fruit transportability is average. Variety is of technical use.
Very early-bearing and high-yielding variety. Average yield 115 centners/ha, maximum 260 centners/ha.
Winter hardiness is high. Drought resistance is average. Resistance to scab is moderate.
Advantages of the variety: high winter hardiness of both vegetative and generative parts, early bearing, high yield, high content of ascorbic acid, sugars, vitamin P, small tree size.
Disadvantages of the variety: small fruits, average taste.
The variety is widely used in breeding. When pollinated by Papirovka, several valuable varieties were obtained.
