A summer-ripening variety developed by VNIICiSK (Sochi) through crossing the varieties 'Aport' and 'Renet Champagn'. Breeder: P. D. Yurchenko.
Medium-growing tree, with a spreading crown in youth, and in full maturity — wide-spreading, cup-shaped, sparse crown with few strong, nearly horizontal skeletal branches, and weak foliage.
Shoots are straight, long, light-green, medium thickness. Leaves are large, egg-shaped with elongated apex and broadly rounded base, yellowish-green, serrated-margined. Leaf blade is curved along the central vein, with a wrinkled surface. Petioles are long, medium thickness with lanceolate stipules.
Fruits are large, often reaching 260 g, average weight — 210 g, irregularly shaped, slightly flattened, equilateral, well-aligned. Skin is smooth, with strong waxy coating, greenish-yellow with a surface coloration of blurred orange-red stripes on the sun-exposed side. Subcutaneous dots are barely noticeable, with slight rust-like blemishes covering 10% of fruit surface. Peduncle is medium length, thick. Fruit calyx is large. Receptacle is medium-sized, nearly flat. Calyx is half-closed, with medium-sized nectary tube, usually funnel-shaped. Central cavity is small. Seed chambers are large, not open to central cavity.
Flesh is light-yellow, nearly white, sweet-sour, juicy, medium firmness, fine-grained, with slight aroma. Sugar content — 12.2%, total acidity — 0.70%.
Fruits have attractive appearance and excellent taste. Summer-ripening variety; fruits harvested in early August, ripening unevenly, lasting 20-30 days.
Fruit production begins in the 4th-5th year. High resistance to fungal diseases.
Advantages of the variety: high resistance to fungal diseases, excellent fruit taste.
Disadvantages of the variety: short fruit storage period, fruiting on the outer crown periphery.
