Precision Breeding for Reliable Yields

The 'Moskovskoye Kruzhevo' squash variety is a product of rigorous selection by the Federal Scientific Center for Vegetable Production and the Vegetable Experimental Station. Developed by G. D. Levko and E. G. Kolesnikova, this hybrid represents a modern approach to home gardening, prioritizing both yield stability and plant resilience against one of the most common threats to squash cultivation: powdery mildew.

Agronomic Profile

Designed as a compact bush-type plant, 'Moskovskoye Kruzhevo' is an efficient choice for gardeners managing limited space. Its growth habit eliminates the need for sprawling patches, making it easier to manage, weed, and harvest. With a rapid maturity timeline of 40–45 days, this variety serves as an excellent early-season producer, providing high-quality vegetables shortly after planting.

Product Characteristics

• Fruit Geometry: The fruits feature a uniform cylindrical shape, highly valued for consistent processing and easy transport.
• Appearance: A clean, light-green skin distinguishes these squashes in the garden and on the market shelf.
• Resilience: The notable resistance to powdery mildew helps maintain foliage health throughout the season, ensuring that the plant can focus its energy on fruit development rather than disease recovery.

Whether intended for kitchen use, fresh salads, or traditional canning, 'Moskovskoye Kruzhevo' balances agricultural productivity with culinary utility, making it a reliable staple for professional and amateur growers alike.
