Naomie

Naomie is a six-row winter barley variety distinguished by high adaptability and stable yield. It exhibits flexibility in sowing timing, enabling cultivation under diverse climatic conditions. This variety has above-average thousand-grain weight and spike seed count, contributing to high-quality grain production. Seeds should be sown from September 15 to the end of October, considering local conditions, to achieve optimal grain performance.

The Naomie variety shows high resistance to major barley diseases such as powdery mildew, downy mildew, and net blotch. Fungicide application is recommended for additional plant protection. Additionally, the variety demonstrates high resistance to lodging, stem breakage, and drought, making it a reliable choice for intensive agriculture.

Under intensive cultivation, Naomie responds well to application of micro- and macronutrients, as well as growth stimulants, which can increase yield, potentially exceeding 10 tons per hectare. Plant height reaches 95–100 cm, with a seeding rate of 350–450 seeds per square meter. Due to its characteristics and versatility, this variety is suitable for cultivation in various regions and climatic zones.
