The winter triploid variety was obtained at the All-Russian Research Institute of Fruit Crop Selection from a cross between Northern Sinap and Welles tetraploid in 1984. Since 2002, the variety has undergone State Testing. Breeders: E. N. Sedov, Z. M. Serova, G. A. Sedysheva, E. A. Dolmatov, V. I. Pavlyuk.
Trees are large, fast-growing, with round crowns. Branches are curved, rarely located within the crown. Bark on the trunk and main branches is brown. The predominant type of fruit formation is simple and complex rings.
Shoots are curved, arching, angular in cross-section, brownish-burly, hairy. Buds are few. Buds are pressed, conical, hairy. Leaves are large, broadly egg-shaped, short-pointed with a spiral tip, dark green, wrinkled, shiny, with coarse veins. Leaf margin is serrated and wavy. Petiole is long, medium thickness, hairy. Flower buds are hairy, lanceolate.
Fruits are above-average size (152 g), elongated, broad-ribbed, with smooth surface, tapered. Main color at harvest maturity is green, and at consumer maturity — greenish. Skin color on half the fruit surface is a blurred pink blush (Fig. ). Numerous green, clearly visible lenticels. Stem is short and oblique. Calyx is acute-conical, narrow, with medium rusting. Receptacle is semi-open. Plate is wide, ribbed. Heart is small, bulbous, chambers are closed and small. Sub-receptacle tube is bowl-shaped. Seeds are underdeveloped, brown.
Fruit flesh is greenish, medium density, tender, fine-grained, juicy, slightly sour-sweet taste with mild aroma. Chemical composition of fruit: sugars — 9.6%, titratable acids — 0.50%, ascorbic acid — 8.1 mg/100g. Fruit are rated 4.4 points for appearance and 4.3 points for taste.
Harvest maturity in the Oryol region occurs on September 15-20. Consumer period of fruit lasts until February. Fruit are good for transport. The variety is relatively resistant to scab. During the study period, we did not observe leaf damage exceeding 1.5 points and fruit damage — 0.5 points.
Characterized by early fruiting and high yield.
Advantages of the variety: high resistance to scab, regular fruiting, high fruit quality.
