CAGAN

Artemisia CAGAN is a perennial herb developed by the Kalmyk Scientific and Research Institute of Agriculture named after M.B. Narmaev. The variety is characterized by a distinctive strong pleasant aroma and bitter taste, making it valuable as medicinal raw material.

Artemisia CAGAN bushes reach a height of 70 to 90 cm. Stems are upright, and the upper part is highly branched, creating a dense and attractive structure. Leaves are dissected, silky, silvery-grey, and felted, giving the plant a special decorative appearance.

Artemisia CAGAN is widely used in agronomy as a means of pest control and for improving soil composition. The culture does not require strict soil conditions; seeds can be sown in autumn or spring. Herbs are harvested during the flowering period when they are most saturated with active substances, after which they are dried for further use.
