New Horizon is an evergreen shrub of the Lamiaceae family, grown in containers and usually moved to a light room during winter. The plant's leaves and stems are easily added to meat, salads, and sauces, imparting an aromatic flavor.
In folk medicine, rosemary is used as a remedy for treating the stomach, nervous disorders, insomnia, jaundice, and even impotence. Topically, it is used for neuritis, thrombophlebitis, parotitis, acne, baldness, as well as for gargling and mouth rinsing.
For cultivation, soak the seeds for 2 hours in any growth stimulant before planting in light soil. After germination (at a temperature of 18–20 °C), the seedlings are transplanted into cups, and after a month – to a permanent location. At room temperature +2…+8 °C, the shrub blooms profusely in winter. Rosemary is incompatible with roses and grows better separately. Pregnant women are contraindicated from using it.
