Echinacea 'South Beauty' – a perennial shrub plant up to one meter tall and 50–60 cm wide. Large, pompon-shaped flowers, bright fuchsia with a raspberry tint, that create an impressive look throughout the summer, from July to October.
The plant prefers sunny spots but also grows successfully in partial shade. Wet soil is unfavorable: in its presence, flowers wilt quickly and the plant may rot. Therefore, it is important to provide a good drainage system and dry soil.
After the first flowering period, the shrub can be shaped to your liking by pruning extra stems. Thanks to the bright and durable buds, 'South Beauty' is considered one of the best varieties for cut flowers and decorative use in gardens and parks.
