Wheat Sich

A Reliable Foundation for Intensive Farming

The winter wheat variety "Sich," developed by the Selection and Genetics Institute, is a strategic asset for farms focused on high-yield profitability. With a genetic potential of 10–11 tons per hectare, this variety is a key component of intensive cultivation technologies where every kilogram of input works toward a premium final result.

Field Application Scenarios

The "Sich" variety is known for its high plasticity. Agronomists choose it when ensuring uniform germination and strong root system development before winter dormancy is critical. Its vigorous tillering allows the crop to close the rows quickly, naturally suppressing weed development during the early stages of vegetation.

• Risk Management: High winter hardiness and drought tolerance make this variety a reliable choice for the unstable climatic zones of Ukraine.
• Harvest Efficiency: Strong straw minimizes the risk of lodging, which significantly simplifies the harvesting process and maintains grain quality at high standards.
• Crop Health: The variety possesses excellent resistance to a complex of diseases, allowing agronomists to maintain flexibility in their fungicide application schedules.

Practical experience with "Sich" demonstrates that the variety responds best to timely fertilization and high-quality crop protection. It is a tool for operations that take a professional approach to agronomy and aim to produce high-quality grain that remains consistently competitive in the market.
