Watermelon Alliance is a mid-early variety developed by Ukrainian breeders and marketed under the brand GL Seeds. This variety is highly adaptable to various climatic conditions, particularly drought-prone climates, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in regions with limited rainfall. The vegetation period lasts approximately 70-75 days from seedling transplanting, allowing for relatively quick harvests.

The Watermelon Alliance plant is strong and robust, with abundant foliage and a well-developed root system. It is resistant to stressful growing conditions, including high solar activity, and possesses strong immunity against diseases such as Fusarium wilt and anthracnose. The fruits have a round-oval shape, with an average weight of 6 to 7 kilograms. The rind is dense, up to 15-16 mm thick, light green in color with dark green stripes and slight surface segmentation.

The flesh is a rich red color, very sweet and juicy, with small seeds, free from voids and fibers. The fruits do not crack and retain their market quality even when stored under field conditions or in a dark, dry place. Watermelon Alliance is suitable for fresh consumption as well as for canning and processing, making it a versatile product for various purposes.
