PEASANT

The watermelon «Peasant» is a mid-late variety intended for cultivation in open ground and under film coverings. The vegetative period from germination to ripening is about 105 days, while the period from fruit setting to full maturity is approximately 35 days. This variety is light-loving, however, yield decreases with overly dense planting.

The watermelon fruits are oval-shaped with characteristic striped coloration and thick, sturdy rinds, ensuring good preservation during transport and storage. The flesh is a rich red color, granular-sugary, and very sweet, making the watermelon especially appealing to consumers. The average weight of fruits ranges from 5 to 8 kilograms and more.
