Watermelon variety Anvik is one of the sweet varieties grown in the Kherson region of Ukraine. This variety belongs to the species Citrullus lanatus and was registered in 2007 by the Institute of Southern Vegetable and Melon Growing of the Ukrainian Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Anvik is distinguished by its high sugar content, making it especially tasty and attractive to consumers.
The choice of the Anvik variety is due to its medium ripening period and good adaptation to the climatic conditions of the region. Unlike early or late varieties, it combines optimal vegetation time with high yield. Watermelon Anvik is suitable for cultivation in open ground, where it demonstrates resilience to various weather conditions, which is important for stable production of high-quality crops.
The fruits of watermelon Anvik have an attractive shape and weight, and their flesh is characterized by a rich sweet taste. Due to its characteristics, this variety is widely used both for personal consumption and for commercial cultivation. It retains its taste qualities well under field conditions, making it convenient for transportation and market sale.
