This variety was obtained at the All-Russian Selection and Technology Institute for Horticulture and Nursery by A.I. Evstratov from seeds of cherry trees pollinated freely by the 'Leningradskaya Zoltyaya' variety. It was included in the State Register in 2001 for the Central region.
Trees are medium-sized — about 5 m tall, with spherical, spreading, drooping crowns of medium density; main branches branch off at right or obtuse angles. Leaves are large, broad, lanceolate, long-pointed, dark green, smooth, glossy, with finely serrated edges.
Fruits have an average mass of 4–6 g, single-seeded, round, red-yellow. Taste is sweet-sour, dessert-like; flesh is firm, slightly fibrous, juicy, light pink; stone is medium-sized, oval, easily separates from the flesh.
High productivity — up to 50 kg per tree or 33 t/ha. Cold hardiness is above average (at the level of 'Vladimirskiy' plum), resistant to the most dangerous fungal diseases — moniliosis and coccomycosis.
Advantages of the variety: medium-early, cold-hardy variety with fruits of good taste and market qualities.
Disadvantages: self-sterile.
